AQUENT is partnering with one of our coolest clients to help them identify a UX Designer for their team in Richmond, VA!!

You’re a UX/UI Designer and a content strategist at heart. You love finding better ways to structure tools and content and describe real human needs in plain language. You’ve helped build a major platform to account for multiple artifacts and types of content, digital asset management software and WordPress in conjunction with other third party publishing tools. You have 3+ years of User Experience (UX), User Interface (UI) and Information Architecture (IA) design experience. And you have a great portfolio to prove it. You’re also a genuinely nice person with humility and integrity.
We are responsible for the development and overall look and feel of the company brand as well as its tone and voice. We focus on creating design systems (typefaces, photography styles, iconography, color palettes, etc.), brand and product identities, brand language and other artifacts that define the overall brand for our various lines of business and products. We’re made up of art directors, designers, writers and creative technologists. Many of us come from the agency world, but recently made the leap to client side. It’s an amazing challenge with massive impact without having to work weekends!
About the role: This is a role to help us build a new brand platform for the organization. This platform will be the place where associates, agencies and other third parties will experience our brand and design systems. Where they’ll access logo and identity standards, find our color palette, upload an app tile identity to be shared with others, access our brand book and strategy, learn about our target audience, etc. You’ll be the person helping us architect that experience and design the flow of it. You’ll be working directly with the One Brand Creative Team and paired with a writer, art director, CD, project manager and account manager.
- 3+ years of experience with digital content strategy
- 3+ years of experience designing for digital products, interactions and platforms
- 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design.
