Our large financial services client located in Linthicum, MD is seeking a talented, innovative, and action-oriented Sr. Content Strategist – with strong digital experience - for a CONTRACT TO HIRE position on their Digital Labs Team. Our client is undertaking an aggressive digital transformation to deepen customer engagement and position their company as the undisputed leader in investment services enabling them to deliver highly personalized, real-time experience customers increasingly expect. In this role, you’ll collaborate with other designers, developers, the product owner and external vendors. Their digital channels support millions of active customers with many interacting daily. Your job will be to help them set and execute content strategies that align with business objectives and drive digital innovation, helping them to establish the best digital customer experience for investors in the industry. We are looking for a top-notch Content Strategist with strong digital experience to join this growing team. Responsibilities include: • Develops content matrices for existing designs (to identify content needs) • Proactively engages design to identify content needs • Plan, write, edit, test and improve content including interface language (microcopy), navigational nomenclature and other content throughout the experiences • Able to draft content guidelines for the team (to use when creating preliminary designs) • Active desire to collaborate with design and development colleagues • Can facilitate/lead team ideation sessions • Able to conduct content audits of existing and competitive brands • Capable of synthesizing user feedback to make strategic content considerations • Co-create/concept development Qualifications Minimum qualifications: * BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience * 3 years of editorial/digital media experience with content for web or mobile experiences * Experience with content management systems and digital channels (including web, social, mobile) Preferred qualifications: * 5 years of editorial/digital media experience covering the financial services space. * Superb writing, editing, and project management skills. * Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
