Job Description:

Join our client's team to create 3D character art work for technical show case demonstrations at public conferences such as GDC and Siggraph.
Responsibility
• Setup (skeleton, bone weights, rigging) character with existing models and textures
• Create animations for the demo
• Explore advanced skinning and animation methods (linear blend, dual quaternion, Maya muscle, etc.) for maximum deformation quality
• Give feedback and help software engineers creating a new art pipeline for PS4 utilizing real-time rendering of advanced animation technologies

Requirements:

• Exceptional character setup skills especially in fine tuning the quality of deformation
• Basic modeling, sculpting, and painting skills
• Recent portfolio and work experience in game production
• Familiarity with technical aspect of pipeline; knowing how deformation and rigging works in Maya and other tools
Nice to have
• Scripting (MEL, Python, or ZScripting) skills to help automating the pipeline
• Portfolio or demo reel of 3D characters
