The Marketing Channel Manager, Demand Generation is responsible for developing & implementing long and short-term marketing strategies and support campaigns to create demand from consumers and influencers. This position will be responsible for driving demand in K&B showrooms, commercial specification and via eCommerce, in addition to any other new channels that Robern enters in the future. The Channel Manager, Demand Generation will evaluate, prioritize, and align strategies and creative messaging of product launches and marketing initiatives to ensure market share, profitability, revenue goals, and a cohesive brand strategy. Activities will include marketing automation, consumer loyalty programs, marketing partnerships, and other grassroots demand generation efforts, PR/Media Relations, Social Media, and advertising. Additionally, the Channel Manager, Demand Generation will forge effective relationships within the marketing team, the Interiors marketing teams, the parent company Marketing and Communications teams to ensure accountability & success of strategies and campaigns within established timeframes and budgetary constraints.

Skills/Requirements

Responsible for significant increase in brand’s aided and unaided brand awareness.
Establish brand as expert in task lighting, elevated styling experiences, and storage.
Generate demand at all stages of the marketing funnel with heavy focus on awareness and advocacy.
Contribute to growth and profitability of the business.
Contribute to a higher level of gracious living by developing and implementing demand generation strategies and plans to consumers and influencers needs, demands and desires.
Develop marketing and promotional strategies across all channels rooted in consumer insights and research.
Evaluate competitor demand generation promotions for each product group. Apprise business teams of competitor activities and changes in the marketplace.
Meet with consumer, remodeler, builder, architect, designer, developer and brand experts to determine future marketing needs and actions. Ensure timely adjustments to changing markets and competitive conditions based on acquired field knowledge.
Establish marketing partnerships that elevate the Robern brand and provide additional outreach and brand awareness opportunities.
Develop digital, print, and broadcast advertising campaigns that communicate the brand message and can be tied back to revenue via Associations, Publications, Social Media, etc.
Establish marketing automation including prospect, lead and contact management. Develop and execute segmentation, responsive, outreach and nurturing campaigns.
Develop a consumer loyalty program to keep customers engaged and provide a reoccurring revenue value stream.
Optimize parent company and sister brand relationships to leverage investment and spend in demand generation.
Create and disseminate content that establishes them as a thought leader in the industry in support of demand generation (ie. CEU’s).
Identify additional grassroots demand generation opportunities.
Track and report on performance of all strategies and campaigns to understand what is working and what’s not working. Identify indicators for future success or the need for a change in direction and to promote marketing efforts.
Own and manage a portion of the marketing and advertising budget.
Continuously benchmark other best-in-class companies and their associate communication efforts and determine relevance for brand.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of business, marketing and/or communications experience in a Consumer Products company across multiple channels of trade, including wholesale and commercial specification outlets with progressively more responsibility and a proven track record of results.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• The ability to be collaborative, creative and innovate.
• Excellent communication skills.
