BOSTON, Oct. 24, 2007 - Aquent, the global leader in marketing and creative staffing, which works with 90 of the Fortune 100 and two-thirds of the Fortune 500, is pleased to announce that local industry veteran Debra Wannstedt has taken the role of area manager for its St. Louis office.
With a master’s degree in marketing and media communications as well as more than 15 years in staffing, Debra brings a unique blend of industry insight and professional experience to her new role. Most recently, she served as a top-producing branch manager at S3, a nationwide IT staffing company. In the course of her career, she has also held data analytics, market research, and client service positions at Strategic Staffing Solutions, IntelliMark Consulting Services Inc., Anheuser-Busch Companies Inc., Wohl Shoe Company, and United Van Lines.
Debra sees several similarities between IT staffing and marketing staffing. “In both cases, clients need to navigate budget constraints and pressure from the top while tackling a vast array of increasingly complicated tasks with multifunctional teams of talented professionals. Getting consistent results without the luxury of adding full-time employees is a major challenge, but that’s exactly what we can help them do.”
Debra plans to establish Aquent as St. Louis’s leading source for marketing and creative services, staffing, outsourcing, and technology solutions. “Aquent is an internationally successful company in the creative and marketing space. I want the business community in St. Louis to profit from our capabilities, expertise, and global reach.”
“More important,” she adds, “we have a great team and work with a broad range of talented professionals right here in St. Louis. I can’t wait to let companies large and small know what Aquent can do for them.”
For more than 20 years, Aquent has led the way in transforming how companies find and utilize marketing and creative talent to execute their brand strategies. Aquent’s pioneering approach to staffing and services has helped thousands of companies—including two-thirds of the Fortune 500 and 90 of the Fortune 100—build their internal marketing and communication capabilities. Last year, we placed over 11,000 Aquent talent at more than 3,000 companies. Aquent is headquartered in Boston, Mass.
