Social Media Design and Creative Infrastructure

The first link cometh unto thee courtesy of Johnny Holland Magazine. It’s a post by Adrian Chanentitled, “A Social Interaction Primer.” Adrian’s main point is that design of social media must focus on user interests, not user needs. Worth a read and a think.

The second link takes you to this article by Mark Dykeman which focuses on “creative infrastructure,” a concept coined by magician Stewart James. It begins to answer the question, “How do you systematically support creativity and the generation of new ideas?”

Thanks to the Ubiquitous Chris Brogan’s Twitterstream for the “creative infrastructure” link.
