Sydney (September 21, 2006) - Aquent, a global firm specialising in staffing solutions for the marketing, communication and creative industries was voted Best Specialist Recruiter (in the large category) in the SEEK Annual Recruitment Awards (SARAs).
The SARAs, now in their fourth year, recognise recruitment agencies for their services through a voting system of customers. Each user can only vote once in the polling to ensure that results are accurate representations of agency patrons.
“We were thrilled to receive this award, not for the award itself, but for the recognition it represents on the way we interact with our clients and our talent, that for the large part, we are meeting or exceeding their needs” said Aquent CEO, Greg Savage.
“The winner is based on their votes, and they think we are the best specialist recruiter in Australia. It’s a tremendous endorsement of the huge effort from our consulting team who have created this response from our customers”.
The awards ceremony was held on Tuesday in the company of 150 recruiters by SEEK, Australia’s number one online recruitment job board. Other categories included Generalist Recruiter (large and small/medium), Executive Recruiter, IT Recruiter and Specialist Recruiters (small/medium category). In total, 29 companies were nominated for a SARAs.
