Aquent Sponsors American Marketing Association Webcast on Successful Creative Briefs Featuring, Speaker Emily Cohen

Boston (April 25, 2007)—Aquent, the world’s largest marketing and creative staffing firm specializing in solutions for marketing organizations, invites marketers and creative service professionals alike to attend “Successful Creative Briefs: Linking Business Objectives and Creative Strategies,” a free webcast featuring consultant to creative professionals Emily Cohen.

Cohen has extensive experience in the creative field both as a business consultant and frequent speaker at various seminars for clients such as AIGA and New York University. She has spoken at several conferences, including the “In-Howse” Design conference on team management and “HOW” Design Conference on effective creative briefs. Cohen currently serves on the advisory board for InSource and the WorldStudio Foundation, and previously was the Secretary for the AIGA/NY Board of Directors. She maintains a website at www.emilycohen.com.

In this webcast, Cohen will offer valuable advice on drafting creative briefs that set clear business objectives, streamline concept development, and facilitate a smoother creative process. She will also present tips and techniques on using creative briefs to strengthen the connection between business goals with creative strategies. This webcast will be of interest to all professionals involved in the creative development process, including corporate and brand marketers as well as in-house and external creative service organizations.

“Emily uniquely understands the creative development process as it’s practiced by marketers and their creative partners,” said Nina Eigerman, President of Aquent Consulting. “After 20 years of working with some of the world’s leading marketers, Aquent believes that an effective creative development process can be a powerful competitive advantage. As a leader, we’re excited to be partnering with the American Marketing Association to share Emily’s expertise and help professionals succeed.”

The free webcast will be broadcast on May 17, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. E.S.T. Details and registration information can be found on the American Marketing Association’s website at www.marketingpower.com/webcast369.php. The presentation will also be archived for future on-demand viewing.

Following Cohen’s presentation, Aquent will also be offering a free, downloadable roundtable discussion amongst a panel of creative and marketing professionals. The panel will discuss Cohen’s presentation and share their personal perspectives on effective creative briefs. More information will be available shortly on Aquent’s website, www.aquent.com and weblog, www.thetalentblog.net.
