Aquent Sponsors American Marketing Association Webcast On Digital Marketing Staffing Trends With Marketing Expert Eric Waldinger

BOSTON (Jan. 17, 2009) – Aquent invites marketing professionals, including online marketers and their teams, to attend “Digital Marketing Staffing Trends,” a free webcast featuring Eric Waldinger, online marketing practice leader.

Despite an overwhelming number of companies stating that online marketing is the most effective advertising method for ROI, the fact is that outsourcing SEO and SEM services costs these companies millions of dollars that they don’t need to spend, and frankly just don’t have.

Recent surveys, including the Aquent/AMA Hiring Trends Survey, Adage and B2B, have made it clear that companies are increasingly moving their digital marketing departments in-house to have better cost control, increased effectiveness, greater digital asset management and lighter agency fees.

In this Aquent-sponsored AMA webcast, Eric Waldinger will provide an overview of the recent Aquent and AMA Hiring Trends Survey, detail what a successful in-house digital marketing department should look like and how it can best be managed, and describe how all of this will save your company time and money.

“Marketing managers are increasingly under pressure to reduce costs without sacrificing the quality of their output. A fast and effective way for companies to save millions of dollars is to bring their digital marketing departments in-house,” Eric says. “But many organizations don’t know where to start when it comes to initiating that change.”

Eric’s five years of experience at prior to joining Aquent, including as vice president of interactive marketing and affiliate marketing, make him ideally suited to understand the complexities of staffing at the intersection of marketing and Web technology. He can relate to the challenges facing digital marketing departments because he has faced and overcome the same challenges.

The free webcast will be broadcast on Jan. 27, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. ET. Details and registration information can be found on the American Marketing Association Web site. The presentation will be archived for future on-demand viewing.
