Cali Yost to provide MBA graduates with strategies on how they can achieve a “work-life fit.” Aquent is sponsoring a teleseminar, hosted by Yost, titled “New Strategies for Managing Your Work+Life ‘Fit’ (Not Balance) in the 21st Century.”

“Managing the relationship between work and life is a responsibility we all need to embrace, especially in today’s 24/7 work reality,” says Yost. “Companies can't give us the answer—they can create the space for the conversation to take place, but it’s up to us to partner with them and make it happen.”

According to an MBA study by Universum Communications, work-life balance is strengthening its grip on the top-ranked spot for career goals; some 50 percent of the respondents chose it as a major career goal, followed by “build a sound financial base” (37 percent) and “influence corporate strategies” (28 percent). In response, today's leading business schools are developing programs on how to maintain an optimal balance between work, family, and other personal responsibilities. Together, Aquent and Yost are supporting these efforts to help MBA graduates in their quest for what Yost calls work+life “fit.”
