Australia (February 29, 2007)—Australia’s leading marketing, communications and creative services recruiter Aquent, has appointed Simon Lusty to the position of director of Sydney.
Lusty, who was most recently Aquent’s New Zealand’s director, now has responsibility for the office which ranks as the second largest outside the US.
Simon began at Aquent New Zealand in 2002 where he not only grew the business but diversified the company’s services from solely creative to full recruitment solutions in marketing, communications, creative, account service and media.
“Simon has already proven himself to be extremely capable in New Zealand and we’re confident he will extend the same know-how to our Sydney office,” said Aquent’s Regional Director for Australia and New Zealand, Lisa Norris.
Simon has extensive experience in HR and recruitment. Prior to Aquent, he held a management role with TMP Worldwide (formerly The Lampen Group) in Auckland.
“I now have a great opportunity to further build Aquent’s ability to provide recruitment solutions for more Australian companies,” said Lusty.
“This transfer is also very exciting on a personal level and highlights how Aquent facilitates career growth and development. As a global company, it offers its staff the option to gain experience in its offices all around the world,” said Lusty.
