Aquent Announces The Hiring Of Four Practice Directors

BOSTON (Jan. 13 2009) – Aquent has appointed three directors to manage and expand several specialized business practices in marketing and design. Jason Brownewell will lead Aquent’s interactive design practice, Tracy Sinclair will lead the marketing practice and Eric Waldinger will lead the online marketing practice. These practice directors join longtime Aquent VP Randy Ricker, who was appointed to lead Aquent’s graphic design practice.

Jason Brownewell, with more than 15 years of experience in the field of user-centered design, comes to Aquent from Sears Holdings. Prior to this engagement, Jason founded and managed several successful design practices, where he established his reputation as an expert in user research, information architecture, interaction/UI design, visual design, front-end development, usability engineering and project management.

Aquent’s new marketing practice leader, Tracy Sinclair, most recently served as a consultant for the Zyman Group, where she advised a variety of Fortune 500 clients on business and brand strategy. Prior to the Zyman Group, Tracy spent five years at Procter & Gamble, beginning her career there in the role of assistant brand manager for Crest Whitestrips, the most successful new product launched at P&G in more than 20 years. Tracy went on to become brand manager for Global Kids Oral Care, ultimately overseeing a portfolio of oral care products with business in more than 35 countries.

Rounding out the team is Eric Waldinger, who will lead Aquent’s online marketing practice. Eric’s five years of experience at CareerBuilder as vice president of interactive marketing and affiliate marketing makes him ideally suited to understand the complexities of staffing at the intersection of marketing and Web technology. Before CareerBuilder, Eric spent six years at Robert Half International, including a role as division director of The Creative Group.

“Aquent’s approach to staffing has always focused on specialization,” said Ann Webster, president of Aquent’s North America staffing division. “Thanks to our practical experience and expertise in the worlds of design and marketing, we understand better than anyone else the challenges faced by our clients and the remarkable abilities of the talent we represent. The new leadership provided by Jason, Tracy, Eric and Randy will further distinguish Aquent as the partner you can most trust when it comes to finding outstanding people and inspiring work.”
