The Email Marketing specialist will partner with internal “clients” to develop and execute marketing campaigns using email and direct mail. This person drives the day-to-day execution of our email communications, which encompasses working with various internal teams on list building, segmentation analysis, browser and ISP testing, creative audit and testing, Email publication scheduling, report building and other activities critical to the success of our communication strategy. The Specialist will work with cross functional teams to communicate campaign activity and performance. Success will be measured by growth in engaged customers, incremental revenue generation across channels, growth in customer base and growth in relevant, engaging touch points across all platforms and communication channels.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
-Work with internal partners to develop messaging that is effective across different media including corporate website, blogs, white papers, case studies, PPTs, etc 
-Manage vendor relationships, intern/ contractor work flow and offshore resources. 
-Provide input to creative designs based on best practices and insights gleaned from analytics
-Design, build and implement creative calls to action maps based on buyer personas/pain matrix identification
-Conduct competitive analysis studies on client competitors, including ongoing digital footprint analysis
-Innovate with a proven “test and roll” mindset that seeks out and adopts learning & best practices
-Understand the customer experience for targeted products, and can recommend/develop lifecycle programs whose goals are to deliver the right offer to the right individual at the right time
-Partner with marketing to develop impactful value-proposition and messaging based on DMA best practices;

QUALIFICATIONS
-BA required in Marketing, English or related field; legal experience a plus
-Minimum 3 years’ experience of online/offline marketing experience 
-Experience with Eloqua a bonus
-Fluency in both offline/online marketing processes, metrics and terminology 
-Proven track record of efficiently creating, executing and analyzing direct marketing campaigns within a multi-channel environment
-Experience with A/B testing and experimentation to identify highest performing customer segments, offers, campaigns versus controls
-Experience developing automated trigger email campaigns: can translate desired customer experience into a clear program, identifying/sourcing necessary behavioral or data inputs from products and owning the build process between email vendor and Intuit resources
-Operates independently and efficiently to manage multiple tasks, priorities and projects simultaneously and successfully
-Strong analytical and problem solving orientation, comfortable engaging with database marketing resources to review performance and drive targeting and segmentation efforts for campaigns
-Deft with technology, with high-level of detail-orientation and willing to dig into the unknown; hands-on experience creating and deploying email campaigns 
-Excellent written and verbal communications skills
-Highly-energized, detail-oriented and creative thinker
