Our Fortune 1000 client is hiring 10 Remote Content Editors!. This is an offsite position, 40 hours/week, metro-Seattle area only. Initial training will take place on site over 3 – 5 business days. Content Editors input property data into tools, updating hotel descriptions and amenities within a strict deadline. This role will aid in cleaning up existing content by assessing, migrating, and/or editing text in our internal tools. It combines the ability to learn guidelines and tools quickly with precise decision-making and strong attention to detail. Candidates must be adept at managing process changes and meet strict weekly targets.

Responsibilities Edit existing content in appropriate parts of the descriptive text and bulleted attributes; adhere to in-house style guidelines. Work efficiently towards daily targets and team metrics.

Qualifications Strong writing/editing/organizational skills Professional experience as an online writer, editor, or content developer Previous Salesforce experience a plus Work Experience and Education Guidelines 1 to 3 years of editorial experience, preferably with e-commerce content development Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or related field Core Competencies Common sense; ability to learn quickly and ask good questions, not those that can be answered in available documentation Excellent writing, spelling, and grammar skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook required Ability to work and learn independently, as well as collaborate with larger teams Excellent interpersonal skills, self-direction, and drive Excellent organizational and quality-control abilities Ability to learn new software and technical processes quickly; experience working with content databases, content management tools, Salesforce, and SharePoint a plus Proven ability to resolve a high volume of work in a deadline-driven environment or work queue Experience in the travel/hotel industry a plus
