The Promotions Marketing Assistant is responsible for the strategic development and execution of all online promotions. This position will report to the Promotions Marketing Manager.
Key Job Responsibilities Include
Promo Management
 Assist in developing compelling and competitive promotions in order to drive online traffic, conversion and sales
 Write and kickoff creative briefs for all promotions
 Oversee end-to-end promotion process from project kick-off to QA to launch
 Manage promotional calendar and set up all promotions in promotional tool
 Other assignments as required
Forecasting
 Assist manager with promotional campaign forecasts
 Collaborate with Inventory Management and Promotions Marketing Manager on a weekly basis to ensure that promotional plans support financial forecasts
 Oversee contingency planning
Reporting
 Weekly reporting and analysis of business performance
 Conduct seasonal hind sights
 Ad hoc testing as required
 Ad hoc projects – communicate calendar updates weekly, distribute marketing materials weekly
Key organizational relationships
Inventory Management, Site & Email marketing, Stores, CRM, Creative and Production
Leadership and Technical Skills Needed for the Position include
 Passion for the retail/fashion industry and a track record of being customer focused
 Experience forecasting and interpreting key metrics to inform marketing strategies
 Strategic thinking & solid analytical skills
 Strong written and verbal communication skills especially the ability to glean insights and tell a story from the data
 Ability to work in fast-paced environment, deal with ambiguity, and prioritize multiple projects
 History of creating effective cross-functional partnerships
 Capability to take initiative
 Strong computer literacy
 Makes informed and confident decisions and recommendations based on complex information and shares that perspective in a clear, timely and effective manner
Minimum Qualifications
 2+ years of marketing, finance, or inventory management background
 Strong excel and analytical skills
